I just cracked my windshield. I was being stupid. I was cleaning silicone sealant out from around the firewall, my knife jumped and landed on the windshield. I will be needing a new one, a while back the painter said he could supply and install a new windshield for about $180. I probably needed a new windshield anyways, I've got a crack in another location and chunks of glass taken out around the bottom corners.

Nope, my insurance doesn't cover my car, I also caused it. The car is on jack stands, I was working on the firewall and my blade slipped.

My dad put his '69 Vette into a guard rail after unknowingly adding 30HP ("Oh this exhaust is a bit restrictive here. Maybe that's what's messing up my tune."). Crunched both front fenders and the nose, hood is salvageable. Was attempting to pry loose what was left of the passenger-side fender when it popped loose and cracked the windshield. I soon received an email with a photo and many explicatives.
